Plant List GPS app

As part of the Edge of the Rockies 2021 conference, attendees and their friends can use and take home the digital plant list app Plant List GPS. More than just a PDF listing of plants, Plant List GPS adds GPS locations along with rich plant information. Digital plant lists are better than paper plant lists. First, they don’t use paper! Digital plant lists are easy to create and add to when out in the field. Plant List GPS on your phone or iPad holds more information and can show pictures to help with identification. Most importantly, digital plant lists are easy to share with your friends and colleagues.

Attendees can download the conference field trip plant lists in advance using the Edge of the Rockies 2021 conference website. For those who would rather have a paper version, no worries, paper versions will be available at the conference. GPS plant location information is voluminous and will only be available in the digital form. Additionally, GPX files can be created for those who wish to import GPS plant locations into a GPS Navigation app.

How to get Plant List GPS

Plant List GPS runs on smart phones and tablets and can be found in Apple and Google app stores. The trial version, Plant List GPS Lite, is free but limits the number of new plant lists. The unlimited Plant List GPS version costs $2/$3. However, all conference attendees and their friends can download the Lite version and enter and enabling code which removes the limitation. Why wait until conference time? Download the app today and find the code in the quick start guide.
